Asiago is a small town (population apporx. 6.500) in province of Vicenza. Asiago is also the name of the most estensive area of high plateau on Alps: Asiago Plateau.
Asiago plateau is the ideal destination for both summer and winter holidays. From Asiago you can easily reach other nice and well known cities of Veneto region: Venice, Verona, ect..
Asiago is also very interisting from historical point of view because of battles during the Great War: the Military Memorial, war cemeteries, bunkers and trenches.
